कैबिनेट ने नई शिक्षा नीति (New Education Policy 2020) को हरी झंडी दे दी है. 

34 साल बाद शिक्षा नीति में बदलाव किया गया है. HRD मंत्री रमेश पोखरियाल 'निशंक' ने कहा कि ये नीति एक महत्वपूर्ण रास्ता प्रशस्‍त करेगी. ये नए भारत के निर्माण में मील का पत्थर साबित होगी. इस नीति पर देश के कोने कोने से राय ली गई है और इसमें सभी वर्गों के लोगों की राय को शामिल किया गया है. देश के इतिहास में पहली बार ऐसा हुआ है कि इतने बडे़ स्तर पर सबकी राय ली गई है।

 शिक्षा नीति 2020 की महत्वपूर्ण बातें :-

1) SSRA (State School Regulatory Authority) बनेगी जिसके चीफ शिक्षा विभाग से जुड़े होंगे।

2) 4 ईयर इंटेग्रेटेड बीएड, 2 ईयर बीएड or 1 ईयर B Ed course चलेंगें।

3) ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) के अंतर्गत प्री प्राइमरी शिक्षा आंगनबाड़ी ओर स्कूलों के माध्यम से।

4) TET लागू होगा up to सेकंडरी लेवल।

5) शिक्षकों को गैर शैक्षणिक कार्यों से हटाया जाएगा, सिर्फ चुनाव ड्यूटी लगेगी, BLO ड्यूटी से शिक्षक हटेंगे, MDM se भी शिक्षक हटेंगे।

6) स्कूलों में एसएमसी/एसडीएमसी के साथ SCMC यानी स्कूल कॉम्प्लेक्स मैनेजमेंट कमेटी बनाई जाएगी।

7) शिक्षक नियुक्ति में डेमो/स्किल टेस्ट और इंटरव्यू भी शामिल होंगे।

8) नई ट्रांसफर पॉलिसी आयेगी जिसमें ट्रांसफर लगभग बन्द हो जाएंगे, ट्रांसफर सिर्फ पदोन्नति पर ही होंगे।

9) ग्रामीण इलाकों में स्टाफ क्वार्टर बनाए जाएंगे, केंद्रीय विद्यलयों की तर्ज पर।

10) RTE को कक्षा 12 तक या 18 वर्ष की आयु तक लागू किया जाएगा।

11) मिड डे मील के साथ हैल्थी ब्रेकफास्ट भी स्कूलों में दिया जाएगा।

12) Three language based स्कूली शिक्षा होगी।

13) Foreign language course भी स्कूलों में शुरू होंगे।

14) विज्ञान ओर गणित को बढ़ावा दिया जाएगा, हर सीनियर सैकंडरी स्कूल में science or math विषय अनिवार्य होंगे।

15) स्थानीय भाषा भी शिक्षा का माध्यम होगी।

16) NCERT पूरे देश में नोडल एजेंसी होगी।

17) स्कूलों में राजनीति व सरकार का हस्तक्षेप लगभग समाप्त हो जाएगा।

18) क्रेडिट बेस्ड सिस्टम होगा जिससे कॉलेज बदलना आसान और सरल होगा बीच मे कोई भी कॉलिज बदला जा सकता है।

19) नई शिक्षा नीति में सिर्फ बीएड इण्टर के बाद 4 वर्षीय बीएड, स्नातक के बाद 2 वर्ष बीएड, परास्नातक के बाद 1 वर्ष का बीएड कोर्स होगा।

The Cabinet has approved the New Education Policy 2020.  Education policy has been changed after 34 years.  HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' said that this policy will pave an important path.  This will prove to be a milestone in the construction of new India.  Opinions on this policy have been taken from every corner of the country and the opinions of all sections of people have been included in it.  For the first time in the history of the country, it has happened that everyone's opinion has been taken on such a large level.

Important points of Education Policy 2020: -

 1) SSRA (State School Regulatory Authority) will be formed, whose chief will be associated with the Department of Education.

 2) 4 year integrated B.Ed., 2 year B.Ed. or 1 year B. Ed course.

 3) Pre Primary Education under ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) through Anganwadi and Schools.

 4) TET will be applied up to secondary level.

 5) Teachers will be removed from non-academic functions, only election duty will be imposed, teachers will be removed from BLO duty, MDM se will also remove teachers.

 6) SCMC i.e. School Complex Management Committee will be formed along with SMC / SDMC in schools.

 7) Teacher appointment will also include demo / skill test and interview.

 8) A new transfer policy will come in which the transfers will be almost closed, the transfer will be on promotion only.

 9) Staff quarters will be built in rural areas, on the lines of central schools.

 10) RTE will be implemented till class 12 or till the age of 18 years.

 11) Healthy breakfast along with mid day meal will also be given in schools.

 12) There will be three language based schooling.

 13) Foreign language courses will also start in schools.

 14) Science and mathematics will be promoted, science or math subjects will be compulsory in every senior secondary school.

 15) Local language will also be the medium of instruction.

 16) NCERT will be the nodal agency in the entire country.

 17) Politics and government intervention in schools will be almost finished.

 18) There will be a credit based system which will make it easy and easy to change college, any college can be changed in between.

 19) In the new education policy, only 4-year B.Ed after B.Ed inter, 2 years B.Ed after graduation, 1 year B.Ed course after Masters.
