1. Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and MSMEs Nitin Gadkari inaugurated the upstream carriageway of Mahatma Gandhi bridge over river Ganga through video conference in Bihar.

9. Former Saurashtra coach and manager Hasmukhbhai Joshi, popularly known as 'Bababhai' Joshi, has passed away. He was 85.

10. Queensland fast bowler Alister McDermott has announced his retirement at the age of 29.
